Description
CAISA worked on the optimisation of a spray-drying plant, achieving —through new equipment and improved performance of the existing equipment— a tenfold increase in production. An optimisation achieved by reducing the downtime of the industrial plant.
In 2019 we worked on the optimisation of this spray-drying plant:
- New combustion chamber and burner, ensuring optimal control of the air inlet temperature.
- New air diffuser to give the airflow greater speed, with new settings for the flow “twist”.
- New last-generation CMT TLC-30 atomiser (through our partnership with CMT), oil-free and with several operating alarms.
- Improvement of the drying chamber outlet, avoiding dead zones and improving the transport of the dry product.
- New connection ducts for better transport of the dry product, air circulation and connection of the new equipment (scrubber and inlet fan).
- New gas scrubber to replace the bag filter.
- Improvement in the location, number and power of the fans and speed drives.
- Improvement of the plant’s energy efficiency.
