Description
Centrifugal spray drying, which CAISA carries out for many clients, is a technique widely used in many industrial and consumer products. The best-known case is powdered milk or instant beverages, but it is also used to manufacture food, pharmaceutical and agrochemical products.
A centrifugal atomisation process generates a suspension of droplets from a solution of solids, followed by hot-air drying of the water or other solvents in the mixture.
The product passes quickly from an initial liquid state to a final powder state without reaching high temperatures, which makes it especially suitable for heat-sensitive products. It also extends the product’s shelf life, reduces storage space and lowers distribution costs.
We are specialists in the design, manufacture and installation of these units.
