The Project
A centrifugal atomisation process generates a suspension of droplets from a solution of solids, followed by drying of the water or other solvents in the mixture with hot air.
The product goes quickly from an initial liquid state to a final powder state without reaching high temperatures, making it particularly suitable for heat-sensitive products. It also extends product shelf life, reduces storage space and lowers distribution costs.
CAISA specialises in the design, fabrication and installation of spray drying towers tailored to each client’s specific requirements, with accumulated experience in the food, chemical and pharmaceutical sectors.
